Deep seawater generally refers to seawater deeper than 200m.

Because sunlight does not reach it, it maintains a cold, stable temperature all year round, making it difficult for bacteria to grow, and general bacteria are almost zero.

Furthermore, because sunlight does not reach it, photosynthesis does not occur, and the water's rich nutrients are preserved.

The water used in K I S S U I is sourced from off the coast of Rausu, Hokkaido, an area blessed with abundant nature so rich it is registered as a World Heritage Site.

From Deep Sea Water to Special Water

KIS SUI uses desalinated deep sea water collected from the Rausu sea.

To prevent the loss of most minerals along with the salt,
the rich mineral balance is preserved using a patented* "freeze desalination method,"
resulting in a supreme base water (desalinated seawater) with a salinity adjusted to 0.3% or less.

By reducing the salinity to 0.3%, which is lower than the 0.9% salinity of human body fluids,
the water melts into the skin.

KISSU uses deep-sea water collected from the Rausu ocean, which is then desalinated.

To prevent the loss of most minerals along with the salt, the water undergoes a patented* "freeze desalination method," which preserves its rich mineral balance while adjusting the salinity to 0.3% or less, creating an exquisite base water (desalinated seawater).

By lowering the salinity to 0.3% from the human body fluid's 0.9% salinity, the water becomes more readily absorbed by the skin.
